Chuck it on ebay and spend an equal fortune on a more compliant system ?
Depends on your perspective. I think it's more a case of immediate
practicality v's long term progress.
I am about to buy a Cyberstorm 040/40 for the "bargain" sum of £90 but I
contrast this with the knowledge that I could buy a now "under speced" G3
for around £30! If it were possible for me to choose right now which of
these processors to fit in my A4k, I'd leap at the G3.
Having thought about it, I don't care what the actual hardware I run is,
provided that the functionality and efficiency is what I have come to accept
from an Amiga. They're right you know, it's all about content or at least
it should be.
Give me cheap, rugged and reliable hardware and I'll buy it - why should we
care with the promise of an hardware independent OS?
